This project comprises of the construction of four Landscape Nodes along Beach Road, Christies Beach including the following detailed scope of work:

• Demolition works including removal of kerbing and footpaths
• Stormwater infrastructure
• Electrical and lighting
• New kerbing and road reinstatement
• Extending footpath over existing parking spaces to support adjacent businesses
• New paved areas, including pavers and exposed aggregate concrete surfaces
• New concrete plinths and seating
• New garden beds and street trees and associated irrigation
• Infrastructure connection to power and water to respective support lighting and irrigation.

With the occupation of additional shared use areas limited, all works were delivered within the confines of each node footprint, including management of materials, plant and equipment. The pavement interface within the shop front accesses were undertaken ‘out-of-hours’ to ensure business continuity and minimise impacts on key stakeholders.

We adopted stategic traffic managment controls and staging of works to ensure pedestrian and vehicular movements adjacent each workzone remained operational at all times.
